To this incredible cast: thank you for treating the script with so much respect, generosity and bravery. Siyani, thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and for holding space for my work. I'm in awe of the continued celebration and recognition of the impact of Fragment/o/s of Air/e in the San Diego theatre community. Thank you, Alejandra Enciso, and her impressive efforts with From Another Zero / Desde Otro Zero bilingual site dedicated to the performing arts. From 80 plays, she highlights Fragment/o/s as one of the best of the year! This one hits harder for me, as I know there are elements in the play she doesn't need an explanation for, and thus can appreciate deeper nuances. I will never stop thanking James P. Darvas and OnStage Playhouse for their support, as well as the incredible artists who came together to bring my words on paper to life: Valeria Vega, Maya Sofia Enciso, Arturo Medinarvizu, Lester Isariuz, and the wonderful designers who captured and created the visuals. Everyone who saw the play, and, of course, the time and effort of our reviewers, who sat through and shared their experiences after watching the show. Meet Carla Navarro

Carla Navarro is an American-born actress of Chilean descent based in San Diego, CA. She is a versatile actress who moves easily between drama and comedy. She’s played many roles from the romantic lead to the eerie supernatural to the ferocious feminist, showing off her dynamic range by bringing each subtle nuance of her characters to life. Her bilingual ability in both English and Spanish (with or without several regional accents) is one of her major assets. You may have seen her in Derecho (La Jolla Playhouse); El Huracán (Cygnet Theatre); Turning Off the Morning News, Drowning Girls, A Bright New Boise, (OnStage Playhouse). to name just a few.
